"I see I'll have to drag a preference out of you," sighs Thomas. "See -- the plain wool, and the patterned." He shows Burr the two samples, in a book, flipping between. Glances over to Burr, eyes dark and wanting. "You would wear either very well -- you have a wonderful figure."

Burr guides his hand and Jefferson's eyes widen, with a little surprised inhale. "Oh." He looks with a new hunger, now, as though his eyes could pick out the hints to what is below.

Mulligan clears his throat, and Jefferson startles, looks guiltily towards him. "Tell me what you were thinking, Thomas," he says, and turns on a screen, apparently connected to the tablet in his hand. It shows a generic male figure, and the outline of a suit. Sliders on the side adjust various things -- length of the coat, single or double-breasted, the lapels.

"On the short side, I think," says Thomas, "single-breasted. Four buttons on the vest." They settle on more, about the style of the pants, and the assistant brings some in.

"I'll let you try a few on." Mulligan sends another knowing look at Burr. "And see what I can find in the right kind of fabric."

He and his assistant sweep out of the room, and leave Burr and Jefferson alone.
